Training Assistant
Job Summary
We are looking for a Training Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth implementation and management of our training programs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for learning and development, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. This is a full-time, on-site position, based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
As a Training Assistant, you will:
- Ensure effective logistics before and during course implementation including liaising with the venue, undertaking administrative preparation of course materials in liaison with the trainers, supporting trainers with formatting and branding of materials and ensure the smooth running of all courses,
- Identify training needs of the office through job analysis, career paths and consultation with managers,
- Keep training documentation and procedures up to date,
- Assist to make and implement annual office training plan
- Set up training courses within the internal training platforms, and provide support on filing, organizing and archiving training materials
- Handle external training applications,
- Organize the practical interview for editorial staff hires
- Support the development of needs assessment surveys, training feedback and monitoring protocols,
- Provide analysis of the participants’ feedback upon participating to training sessions,
- Continuous learning of editorial procedures and skills in order to be able to deliver trainings on topics relevant to the editors,
- Effectively communicate with team members, trainers and management,
- Drive brand values and philosophy through all activities,
- Execute other reasonable tasks requested by the line manager.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree; preferred majors: Human resources, Education, Business Administration, Psychology, or Communications,
- Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
- Knowledge of instructional design theory and learning principles,
- Knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools,
- Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools and techniques
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent command of the English language
- Hands-on experience coordinating training events in a corporate setting
- Efficient and organized with good attention to detail
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Ability to work under pressure, to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
Preferred but not required:
- Knowledge of Editorial operations,
- Professional training certification
- Intercultural work experience
- Proof of English proficiency
Priority will be given to candidates with relevant training work experience.
