Abstract

It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 3rd Workshop on Performance Engineering, Modelling, Analysis, and Visualization Strategy - PERMAVOST 2023.

Modern software engineering is getting increasingly complicated. In the HPC field, we are dealing with cutting-edge infrastructure and a novel problem on an unprecedented scale. The scale here is not only in the HPC infrastructure but also in the scale of the stakeholders involved. From application analysts to tools developers and domain scientists, all of them have varying degrees of knowledge in HPC performance analysis and different focus of expertise. We created this workshop to build a community and creating a robust feedback loop to answer future challenges in performance modeling, analysis, engineering, and visualization.
