Following on from discussion in this osmdata issue, it might be useful to have a binary flag to allow the ctime column of $meta to be inherited from the object passed to SC() (or other verbs), with default inherit_ctime = FALSE. This might often be the only way to compare whether different data sets have been derived from the same source.
