I was able to install this program.

However, It is hard to figure out which script/binary need to run first?
For example, do we need to download the list of taxonomy IDS in order to build an index?
What is tax.parents in the build_db_from_sequence_tree.sh?

It will be really helpful to add documentation about general flow of this program.

Thank you!

Hello @deepthoughts

Did you figure out the workflow of the SRA Taxonomy Analysis Tool (STAT) ?
It is because I am having the very same difficulties trying to run it. Even with the "example" they provide.
Did you find any usage manual or similar?

Thanks you in advance.

Hi @fjuradorueda
It has been awhile since I used it and have not checked back recently. I am using MASH for similar purpose. https://mash.readthedocs.io/en/latest/
I hope you find that program useful.
Thanks!
