Accessibility statement for the University of Suffolk Single sign-on website

This accessibility statement applies to login.uos.ac.uk which is owned by the University of Suffolk. It is designed to be used by as many people as possible. The site should be clear and simple to understand.
We have built our website so that:

  • change colours, contrast levels and fonts
  • zoom in up to 400% without the text spilling off the screen
  • navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
  • navigate most of the website using speech recognition software
  • listen to most of the website using a screen reader 
  • It is responsive and viewable on a range of devices
  • Images have text descriptions where appropriate

Our buildings are accessible for wheelchair users and accessible parking (for permit holders only) is located behind the Waterfront Building, accessed via Coprolite Street. The closest accessible parking for visitors is at Duke Street Car Park.

An error message is not displayed when the login fields are not populated on submission.

When the login form is submitted without any content being entered an error message is not displayed to the user informing them an error has occurred.
This fails WCAG 2.1 success criteria 3.3.1 (Error Identification)

We plan to resolve this when we replace the current Single Sign On Service.
