This is an introductory workshop to explore letterpress printing using wood type. Participants will typeset and proof their brief messages for laying out their designs and then print their broadsides on a Vandercook proofing press. Those wishing to continue working on their projects such as adding a second color can do so at subsequent open studios on Sundays. Letterpress experience is useful but not required. Participants should come prepared with several very brief messages to choose from with the help of the instructor. Anyone with questions about their choice of messages or for more information should contact Won.K.Chung@Dartmouth.edu.

Registrations are fully booked!
