Our history
Before launching Piwik PRO in September 2013, its founders and team members spent years in the AdTech and MarTech industries. The company’s story began with consulting services offered for the open-source Piwik platform.
In 2016, we officially parted ways from our open-source cousin. Since then, Piwik PRO has been developing a new proprietary platform: Piwik PRO Analytics Suite. We’ve been continually striving to make a better product and help organizations reach their goals while always putting privacy first.
In 2021, we launched our free Core plan, currently with over 12,000 active Core accounts worldwide. In October 2023, Piwik PRO merged with Cookie Information, a renowned consent management platform (CMP) vendor based in Denmark.
Over the years, Piwik PRO has matured and expanded, gaining a solid position in the analytics industry. We’ve been increasing the number of our clients and users, developing a fast-growing community, and expanding into new markets.
Our platform has become known for its focus on privacy and security and data-driven approach. As we continuously expand our product’s data integration and activation capabilities, we have a central goal in mind – to become the leading integrated analytics platform.
All of that wouldn’t be possible without experts, development, and business-savvy leaders supported by a team of nearly 200 talented and dedicated people.
