Liwen Jiang
Areas of expertise Organelle identification, biogenesis, dynamics, and function, protein trafficking, plant biotechnology. Liwen Jiang is Choh-Ming Li Professor of Life Sciences at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He earned his Ph.D. at Simon Fraser University in Canada, and conducted postdoctoral research at Washington State University, USA, before joining the faculty at CUHK in 2000. Research is his lab is focused on protein targeting and trafficking in plant cells and plant organelle biogenesis and function, as well as their potential application in plant biotechnology.
