Madelaine Bartlett
Areas of expertise The evolution of plant development (evo-devo), maize developmental genetics, gene family evolution, flower development and evolution. Madelaine BartlettĀ is an Associate Professor in the Biology Department at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She completed her BSc at the University of the Witwatersrand (South Africa) and her PhD in Plant Biology at the University of California Berkeley. The Bartlett lab studies the genes that regulate plant development and how these genes have evolved, with a particular focus on flower development and evolution.
