The second link is an interesting read, but its title says it almost all "Thorium reactors are not the solution". The second link is actually relevant after all. | |

The second link does nit seem relevant, as leaving it laying around in low concentration (to exhibit the stated half life) is what is happening when you don’t have a reactor. | |
