Meta Verified for creators is a paid monthly subscription that comes with features like the verified badge, account support, impersonation protection, and more.

When you subscribe to Meta Verified, you’ll follow a verification process and submit an application for review. You’ll choose the profile(s) you want to verify, set up your monthly subscription payment, and confirm your identity.
You can verify up to two eligible profiles (one Instagram and one Facebook) that are added to the same Accounts Center. When you verify two profiles, you get a discounted price.

What to know before you subscribe
  • You need to meet our eligibility requirements in order to qualify for Meta Verified.
  • You need to have two-factor authentication enabled on your profile(s). This security feature helps protect your account by requiring a code each time you access your account on a device we don’t recognize.
  • If you subscribe two profiles, they need to be added to the same Accounts Center. Both profiles may need to have the same name and picture.
  • If you don’t complete the verification process within 3 days, your subscription will be canceled and you’ll be eligible for a refund.

Note: Once you begin the verification process and submit your initial payment, you may not be able to change certain profile information. This includes username and date of birth on Instagram, and date of birth on Facebook.

Once you complete the application process and submit your information, we’ll review it and update your verification status after our review is complete. This process can take up to 2 business days.

Once you’re verified
After your application is reviewed and approved, you’ll receive access to Meta Verified benefits, including support.
Your verified badge will be displayed:
  • On your verified profile(s)
  • In the comments section next to your profile picture
  • In search results next to your name and profile picture
  • In direct messages next to your profile picture
  • In Reels, Stories, and Feed
