More than 15,000 people came to Bahrenfeld to discover the new science district in the west of Hamburg. DESY, Universität Hamburg, and many further institutions on campus were there with a lot of activities, showcasing their top-level research. The aim of the event was to present the recent and current joint research activities of the Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DESY) and the Universität Hamburg (UHH). This is the second time in a row the prize is won by a collaborative project from Hamburg.
