Job Description

The IT market is constantly changing. The industry boom has led to a great need for skilled workers. In the dual degree course in Business Informatics – Application Management, you will become familiar with the development, maintenance and optimization of business systems. You will gain practical specialist knowledge in the fields of information technology and business administration. In this way, you will become an expert in a growing market with excellent career prospects.

School Requirements

"Allgemeine Hochschulreife" (General higher education entrance qualification) or "Fachgebundene Hochschulreife" (Subject-restricted entrance qualification)

Duration of Studies / Degree

The study ends after successful completion of 6 semesters with the title Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.).

Course Content

In this course of study, you will acquire expertise in IT systems, customization, and system analysis, among other topics. Here, you will have the opportunity to deepen your interests in information technology and business administration, participate in numerous exciting projects, and grow into your role as an IT consultant. You will learn to develop, maintain, and optimize information systems needed in business, administration, and healthcare facilities. Expect a lot of variety, as your areas of deployment may vary, such as in personnel management, financial accounting, and nursing.

During your time with us, your communication and intercultural competence will be strengthened, preparing you optimally for collaboration with other professionals as well as potential leadership positions. With a mix of theory and practice, you will have the perfect conditions to implement your new knowledge directly in the working world. Other key topics include accounting and financing, parameterization, databases, and project and business process management.
