OVERVIEW
Dr. Lamartiniere earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport, which is where he also completed his internship and residency. Dr. Lamartiniere is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. I have over 20 years of experience in hospital and outpatient medicine. I have strived to stay fully up to date with the rapidly changing field of Internal Medicine. I am especiially interested in health maintainence including preventive medicine. I also enjoy chronic disease management in a collaborative fashion. I feel that the most important part of patient care is listening and communicating effectively which is mandatory in order to provide effective care. I have recently started a a new practice here in Baton Rouge in order to allow me to provide more personal care than allowed by a large health system based clinic.
