Code of Conduct

This Code of Conduct outlines the expectations and responsibilities of mentors and mentees to ensure a respectful, professional, and productive environment.

By participating as in our entrepreneurship mentoring programme, mentors and mentees agree to the following:

Core Values
Mentors and mentees will aspire to our values of integrity, respect, and responsibility.

Commitment
Mentors will dedicate sufficient time and effort to support mentees effectively, and mentees will make their best to learn from their mentors. 

Intellectual property
Mentors and mentees will not take credit for other people’s creative work.

Confidentiality 
Mentors and mentees will not share details about their communications with third parties without the other’s prior express consent.

Bullying & harassment
Bullying and harassment are not tolerated and will result in the immediate termination of the offender’s participation in the programmes and it may trigger a lawsuit.

Communication
Mentors and mentees will always communicate transparently and without recurring to the use of offensive language or transmission of offensive images to others.

 

Reporting Your Concerns

We strongly encourage mentors and mentees to report violations of this Code of Conduct to our team via e-mail at entrepreneurship@univie.ac.at  

Updated June 2024. This Code of Conduct is subject to periodic review and updates to ensure it remains relevant and effective in promoting the goals and values of the University of Vienna Entrepreneurship Programme.
