This website is run for Leeds Beckett University. It is designed to be used by as many people as possible. The text should be clear and simple to understand. You should be able to:

• zoom in up to 300% without problems
• navigate most of the public website using just a keyboard

• use most of the public website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)

How accessible this website is

Some parts of this website are not fully accessible:

• some user-generated files and previews of said files may be inaccessible 
• there is no 'Skip to Main Content' link on the website
• navigation is not consistent across the website; on the Search page search terms are entered into the Search content area, however on other pages search terms are entered into the search box
• on some pages there is the option to select Grid view and List view. When Grid view is selected each item title will be read twice by a screen reader, therefore selecting List view may make the page easier to navigate

There is no ‘Skip to main content’ link on the website. This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 2.4.1 (Bypass Blocks). We have reported this to the supplier and they are investigating the issue.

Navigation is not consistent across the website; on the Search page search terms are entered into the Search content area, however on other pages search terms are entered into the search box. This fails WCAG 3.2.3 success criterion (Consistent Navigation). We have reported this to the supplier.
