Decreased levels of IL-12 production in macrophages exposed to curcumin in vivo. Mice were treated in vivo with curcumin (500 μg, i.p.). After 24 h, macrophages were purified and stimulated with either LPS or HKL. Culture supernatants were harvested 48 h later and IL-12 content was assayed by ELISA. The experiment is representative of three experiments.
