Who We Are

Welcome to the Administration for Children and Families' Government Contracting Services (GCS) page. GCS is committed to providing top-notch contracting and business advisory support to ensure human services compassionate and effective delivery. These acquisitions comprise various products and services, including education, childcare, emergency response, refugee resettlement, research, and information technology.

We have more than 100 civilian employees with fiscal accountability of nearly 400 contracting actions, valued at more than $1.3 billion in fiscal year 2023 (FY23). These skilled professionals provide sustained expertise in all contracting areas, including market research, solicitation development, proposal evaluation, contract negotiation, and contract management. The program also guides compliance with federal regulations, policies, and procedures related to government contracting.

We take pride in our mission contributions. Our contracting expertise ensures ACF programs have access to the resources needed to facilitate the economic and social well-being of children, families, and communities across the United States.
