While the growth is slowing down, with 1,676 practicing doctors, the number of healthcare physicians is at its peak in the observed period. A practicing physician is a physician, general or specialist, that actively practices medicine in an institution, public or private. A relevant medical degree is a prerequisite to exercise such a profession.
