Domestic tourism spending in Malta 2016-2022
The total expenditure of domestic tourists in Malta declined in 2022 compared to the previous year. Overall, domestic tourism spending in the country amounted to roughly 63.4 million euros in 2022, denoting a 20 percent drop from 2021. Meanwhile, the number of domestic tourists in Malta declined by five percent over the same period.
