Ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympics and Paralympics, it was estimated that the total economic impact of the preparation and staging phase of the Paris 2024 Olympics and Paralympics, which came between 2017 and 2024, could be as high as 9.3 billion euros. The highest share of this came from the impact of the organization of the Games, which in the best-case scenario would total 4.26 billion euros. Meanwhile, the impact of tourism was measured to be between 1.17 and 2.13 billion euros.
