Brazil: food retail market sales share 2016-2022, by state

In 2022, the state of São Paulo was ranked first in the food retail industry in Brazil, accounting for approximately 33 percent of the Brazilian food retail market, down from to 35.4 percent a year earlier. Minas Gerais followed, accounting for 10.8 percent.
